When things get in the way of your composition
Sometimes you just have to get out and create some pictures, even if it’s a cold winter morning, and you’re not sure why you are doing it. I headed to Råå harbour, in the south of Helsingborg, on a quiet morning. The sun had not yet risen, and as it turned out, was never going to. Long exposure light trails (group project – challenge no.2)
For the second project challenge in the photography group we tried out some long exposure light trails. For this I thought traffic lights would be perfect. We went to the centre of town on a night when it was absolutely freezing, and proceeded to take photos of the traffic whizzing past under an overpass, next to the train station. Disappointingly, not a lot of traffic passed under us at this time, even though it was rush hour, or just after. After like 45 minutes I could no longer feel my toes so we went for dinner instead! Happy New Year! Hope your holiday celebrations were satisfactory <3 I had a very quiet & peaceful Christmas, but I did definitely miss the snow, because there was not one flake of the white stuff on the ground! In fact, I think it was about 8+ degrees. And I supposedly live in Sweden…?! Well, in the last few days plenty of snow has fallen, so today me & the hubby took a long walk with the cameras, yay!
